Pull a Lucky Fish Zones: How to Unlock Better Areas
How each Pull a Lucky Fish zone unlocks, why stronger throws land in better areas, and the throw power targets reported for rebirths.
How zones actually work
Pull a Lucky Fish calls its fishing areas zones, and each one is named after a rarity band. When you cast, the game tells you which zone your hook landed in — for example, a short throw lands in the uncommon area while a long one can reach the legendary zone.
The mechanic is simple and it is the whole progression spine of the game: the further your throw travels, the higher the zone, and the better the fish in it. There is no unlock button for the fishing zones. You reach them by casting further.
The zone bands, weakest to strongest
| Zone | How you get there | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Your first area. Reachable on a starter rod with almost no throw power. | Recorded as the area a new save lands in. |
| Uncommon | One strong cast past the starting area. A short training session is usually enough. | Reached within the first minutes of several recorded sessions. |
| Rare | Needs a trained throw beyond the uncommon band. | Zone name reported; the exact throw power boundary is not published. |
| Epic | A step up again. Recorded sessions reach it around the point where a first real rod or weight purchase lands. | Reached after roughly 50,000 throw power in one session. |
| Legendary | A longer cast than epic. Often reached on the same upgraded setup that unlocks epic. | Reported alongside epic in the same cast in two sessions. |
| Mythic | Needs a substantially stronger throw. Recorded sessions reach it after heavy weight upgrades. | Reached at roughly 3,000,000 throw power in one session. |
| Secret | Beyond mythic. Requires a near-maximum throw on the gear you have. | Zone name appears in a progression list on screen, not in the fishing banner. |
| Divine | The highest band named. Reaching it is a stated goal rather than a routine stop. | One session explicitly reports not being able to reach it yet. |
| Godly / hacked | Names seen in a late-game progression readout. | Reported as readout labels; we have not confirmed them as fishing zones. |
Two cautions on this table. First, the exact throw power needed for each band is not published by any source we could read — only the order is reliable. Second, a zone is a property of the cast, not a permanent unlock. A weak throw still lands in a low zone even after you have fished in a high one, so you need a strong cast every time, not just once.
Separately, the game has run a named New Zone event, which is a scheduled event rather than one of the permanent bands above. Do not confuse the two: the bands on this page are reachable at any time by casting further, while the event is time-limited and tracked separately.
Why your cast stops short
There are three separate limits, and fixing the wrong one wastes time and money.
- Your rod’s cap. If the game shows a warning that your power is above the rod’s cap, the extra power is not being used. More training will not move you. Buy a rod instead — see which rod to buy next.
- Your throw power. With no cap warning, weight upgrades and training extend your cast. The training guide covers the train-test-read loop.
- The power bar timing. Recorded sessions call a full-bar cast a “perfect throw”, and the same setup lands in different zones depending on it. Two sessions reach legendary off the same cast that reached epic. Time the bar before you spend on upgrades.
Throw power targets for rebirths
Throw power also gates Rebirth. Recorded sessions show the requirement climbing steeply:
| Milestone | Reported requirement | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| First rebirth | 1,000 throw power | Reported |
| Second rebirth | 10,000 throw power | Reported |
| Next rebirth | 100,000 throw power | Reported |
| Later rebirth | 1,000,000 throw power | Reported |
| Later rebirth | 100,000,000 throw power | Reported |
Note the shape rather than the numbers: the requirement jumps by roughly ten times each step. That is why Rebirth gets rare at the top end while weight upgrades keep mattering throughout. Read the live Rebirth panel instead of planning around a fixed figure.
The gym is a timed training window
Recorded sessions show a gym that opens on a timer and stays open only briefly — one session reports a five-minute window with the next opening about thirty minutes away. While it is open you train for a large amount of throw power quickly; one session reached three million throw power before the gym closed.
Treat the gym as the efficient way to clear a Rebirth requirement. If you are close to a threshold, waiting for the gym is usually better than grinding outside it. The exact schedule is server-specific, so watch your own timer.
Zone questions
How do you unlock zones in Pull a Lucky Fish?
By casting past the previous area's boundary. The zone you land in is decided by how far the throw travels, so throw power, your rod's cap and a well-timed power bar all push you into better areas. There is no separate purchase or unlock button for the fishing zones themselves.
Why do I keep landing in the uncommon area?
Your throw is not travelling far enough yet. Check for the rod-cap warning first: if the game says your power exceeds your rod's cap, no amount of extra training will move you further and you need a rod upgrade. If there is no warning, more throw power from weights and training will extend your cast.
What throw power do I need for the mythic zone?
One recorded session reached the mythic area at roughly 3,000,000 throw power, and another reached legendary right after epic at about 50,000. Those are observations from single sessions, not published thresholds, so use them as a rough sense of scale rather than a target.
How much throw power does each rebirth need?
Recorded sessions show requirements of 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000 and 100,000,000 throw power at successive rebirths. The panel in your own game is the authority, because the numbers scale and may change between versions.
Is there a World 2 in Pull a Lucky Fish?
We found no evidence of one. A World 2 is a common claim for Roblox fishing games, but across 83 gameplay transcripts and the written guides we read, nothing names a second world, a world transfer, or a portal to one. Treat World 2 claims for this game as unverified.
